Venues
Plan B had been enlarging their fanbase by performing at a wide variety of venues. Shows included the Laurel Music Festival, the Ocean City Labor Day Battle of the Bands and the "Punkin' Chunkin'." They had performed at many local clubs in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia, such as the Hurricane, Fager's Island and they are the local's favorite at Arena's Deli. The band has traveled off the Shore to DC and New York and recorded a live EP at CBGB'S.
Members
Dave, Luke and Wes had played music together since juniors in high school. After meeting Jeremy in December 1998, Plan B was born. Each member of the band contributed to the songwriting process. The musical influences that each member brought to a song gave a great variety to their original compostions. It is difficult to label what "kind" of music the band was-they performed a wide variety of cover tunes from such diverse groups as Bush, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Credance Clearwater Revival, Pearl Jam, STP, and the Beatles. Their original songs also reflected this diversity.
As is true with most things in life, all good things must come to an end. Unfortunately, the band split as a quartet in late July 2000. But it won't be the last time you hear from these talented guys.
